What AlarmiFex is

AlarmiFex is an iPhone alarm app that wakes you to any song or your own recorded voice — a track you uploaded, audio you pulled from Spotify or YouTube, or a pep talk you recorded yourself — and that actually goes off. It rings on silent, on Do Not Disturb / Focus, on the lock screen, and fully offline. You can trim your sound to the exact drop or chorus you want to hear, push it above your phone's normal system volume, and rotate a fresh sound every morning.

Who it's for

AlarmiFex is built for people who cannot sleep through a morning: heavy sleepers who wake up to a silent phone and no memory of dismissing anything, night-shift nurses on a 5am start, students with an 8am final, and anyone with a 6am flight. It's also for the people whose alarm has already stopped working on them — the ones who have learned, the hard way, that a music alarm can quietly fail overnight and leave them with nothing.

Why we built it

Music and streaming alarms have one notorious failure mode: they don't ring. The app can't reach the streaming service, so it falls back to a quiet default tone — or to nothing at all. You wake up an hour late and you have no idea why. That failure is the whole reason AlarmiFex exists.

So we attacked reliability first, and made everything else follow from it. AlarmiFex downloads your sounds to your phone for offline playback instead of streaming them at 5am, and it schedules alarms through Apple's native AlarmKit rather than a fragile background workaround that dies overnight. That's why it can ring on silent, on Focus, on the lock screen, and in airplane mode. Being able to wake up to any song is the fun part; being able to trust the alarm is the point.

We're honest about the limits, too. AlarmiFex is iPhone-only for now, precisely because its reliability features are built on native iOS APIs — and it is not a life-safety device. It's an alarm we built to be worth trusting on the mornings that matter.
